For centuries, the endemic palm trees of Colombia's Caribbean region have been used for making traditional sleeping mats (estera). However, due to increased cattle-farming, this tradition is at risk of being lost forever. This short documentary was screened in cinemas in Colombia in 2016.

The Kogi leader Fernando Daza has a message for the world. Encroaching mining operations and farming are threatening the Kogi way-of-life. Fernando makes an urgent appeal to save the sacred mountains and, with it, the world.

Juyá y la llegada de Igüa

The indigenous Wayúu community have suffered from an extended drought. By praying to the god of rain – Juyá – they hope that spring – Igüa – will finally arrive.
